What is o2c?
o2c is a real time CAD model viewing tool. It allows easy manipulation (rotating, panning, zooming) of 3-D CAD models by standard mouse controls. Because the file format is extremely compact, it makes it very easy and simple to share design concepts with owners/clients, consultants and contractors. If your computer does not display this CAD model, all that is needed is to load a small o2c Player viewer control to your browser. Follow the instructions below for more information.
How do I view an o2c file?
1.Make a folder on your hard drive (o2c) and a sub-folder (o2cSetup).
2.Copy the o2c Player executable file (O2CSetupOCX.exe) and Help file (o2cPlayer_en.hlp) into the o2cSetup folder on the hard drive of your computer after unzipping.
3.Double click on the o2c Player executable file (O2CSetupOCX.exe) in the o2cSetup folder to install. The installation should be completed quickly.
4.Use the mouse and controls listed in the tables below to view the CAD model in real time.
5.Although more difficult to maneuver, a walk-through mode is available by right clicking and selecting Walk Through.
6.If you lose the model in the window, right click and select Show All.
7.For more details on the o2c viewer, a DataCAD Technical Bulletin can be viewed and/or downloaded (.98 MB) from http://www.datacad.com/support/techbull.htm. The current bulletin (08/03) is at the top of the list under o2c, GENERAL.
8.The o2c Player (553 KB) and help (216 KB) files are free and can also be downloaded from http://www.o2c.de.
